Homeschool Learn to Skate Private Lessons (90 minutes)
Join us in Holly/Groveland Township, Michigan for our private learn to skate lessons for homeschooling families, which is taught by a homeschooling mom. Whether you have one child or 15 children, we have something that every one will enjoy! So, come take a class with us, and then stay to play! New skills will be taught each lesson for brand new beginners, as well as for more advanced skaters.
The first thing we teach is how to fall down safely — and how to get back up. Skaters will also learn skills like stopping, backward skating, "shoot-the-duck," and more.
Cost: $50 per lesson
The homeschool learn to skate private lesson, lesson fee also includes certification testing and awards (certificates, badges, lapel pins, etc.) through Roller Skating Association, International and through USA Roller Sports. Use of traditional roller skates are also included for the duration of the lesson. Traditional roller skates are recommended for lesson use to provide the best foundation in any and all roller skating sports. Skaters will be able to transfer knowledge and skill to other types of skates such as inline, hockey, ice, etc.

As a homeschooling mom of six children, Coach Jamie knows both how to be kind and gentle while also helping the skater reach their full potential. This program helps reinforce Christian values and the fruits of the Spirit — love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.
Homeschool learn to skate private lessons work best with a weekly/monthly commitment. An improvement in skill level will be noticeable after the first lesson!
